Do not add the selected course (s) to your basket as well.
e.g. - you want to attend a loadall and chainsaw course but only want to pay for the loadall in full and pay £20 towards the chainsaw, add loadall to your basket, then select phased payment as well. The phased payment will ask you what the payment is for, add chainsaw and £20 and it will be added to the total. Although reserved, you will inly be alloacted the chainsaw course when full payment has been received.
