BHS Stage 1 course reference care and ride

This course is run over 6 evenings, where you will ride and learn about care of your horse. The course will end with a BHS Stage 1 exam that you will responsible for entering.

Start dates throughout the year are: 16th September 2024, 11th November 2024 and 27th January 2025, with limited spaces on each.

BHS Stage 2 course in Coaching

Over 10 weeks you will follow the full Stage 2 coaching syllabus on a Wednesday pm

Start date is: 26th February 2025

BHS Stage 2 course reference horse knowledge and care

This course is run over 10 evenings, where you will follow the stage two syllabus in horse care.

Start date is: 25th September 2024

BHS Stage 3 course reference horse knowledge and care

This course is run over 10 evenings, where you will follow the stage three syllabus in horse care.

Start date is: 8th January 2025

This course is aimed at students who are planning to take the BHS Stage 2 examination.


This course is run over 5 evenings to prepare you for your stage 2 BHS exam in lungeing.

Course start date: 25th October 2024.

You will be contacted after payment is received with course details.

Limited to 6 people.

Please ensure you come dressed appropriately, including hat and gloves.

This course is aimed at students who are planning to take the BHS Stage 3 examination.

This course is run over 5 evenings to prepare you for your stage 3 BHS exam in lungeing.

Course start date: 7th March 2025.

BHS Stage 2 course Care and Ride

This course is run over 10 evenings, where you will ride and learn about Horse Knowledge and Care covering the Stage 2 syllabus.

There will be a BHS exam at the end of the course that you will be responsible for entering if you wish to do it.
