Rider biomechanics specialist Dr Celeste Wilkins will assess your riding position and performance on the Riding Simulator, with particular focus on your pelvic movement and how it affects your seat. This assessment can be tailored for any discipline. Celeste will perform a thorough assessment in each gait, to highlight your strengths, and areas that can be worked on, either on the riding simulator, or with your coach on your horse.
*Assessment with sensors and report*
This option will use a sensor suit to give objective data about your position. For example, it will define your pelvis range of motion, and measure the regularity and consistency of your pelvis, trunk, and hip movement. This can be used as a benchmark, whether that’s to define a period of peak performance, understand the effect of injury, or to use with a coach or off-horse trainer to tailor an exercise programme. These sensors are used by Team GB to evaluate performance, and is the only known service available to riders of any level on a riding simulator.
Sessions can be tailored for small groups, or in conjunction with a coach, specialist/therapist. Please email [email protected]
to discuss options.
